JLE Led Signs is an American signage manufacturer and installer headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. We work with small and medium businesses, franchises, restaurants, retail stores, salons, gyms and offices — helping them turn a storefront into a landmark.
Who we are
The company was founded by Bryan Yarbrough with a simple idea: a sign is not decoration — it is the first salesperson a customer ever meets. That idea still drives every project we take on. We combine in-house design, CNC fabrication, LED engineering and certified electrical installation under one roof, so our clients deal with one team instead of five vendors.
Our workshop handles everything from a single illuminated window sign to full multi-location storefront rollouts. Every unit is built with UL-listed LED modules and drivers, weather-rated housings, and finishes that hold up to Midwest winters and coastal humidity alike.

No vague timelines and no surprise invoices. Every project moves through the same five stages, and you see exactly what is happening at each one.

Consultation & Site Survey
We talk through your goals, brand, budget and location. For local clients we visit the site to measure, photograph and check electrical access.

Design & 3D Mockup
You receive scaled drawings and a photoreal mockup of the sign on your actual storefront, along with a written quote and lead-time estimate.

Permits & Approvals
If your city or landlord requires a sign permit, we prepare and submit the paperwork and coordinate with the local sign code office on your behalf.

Fabrication
Your sign is built in our Chicago shop: CNC cutting, welding, painting, LED assembly and a full electrical burn-in test before it ever leaves the building.
05
Installation & Handover
Our licensed crew installs, wires and tests the sign on site, cleans up, and walks you through warranty coverage and maintenance basics.

Frequently asked.
How long does a custom LED sign take?
Most standard channel-letter and storefront projects ship in 7 to 14 business days after design approval and deposit. Larger monument, pylon or multi-location orders typically run 3 to 6 weeks depending on permit timelines.
Do you handle sign permits in Chicago?
Yes. We prepare drawings and submit permit paperwork to the City of Chicago Department of Buildings and surrounding municipalities. Permit fees are paid directly to the city and are separate from your sign invoice.
Do you ship outside of Illinois?
Yes. We ship signage to all 48 contiguous states. Signs are crated and freight-shipped, with installation either performed by our traveling crew or by a vetted local installer we coordinate with.
What warranty comes with your signs?
All new signs carry a 5-year limited warranty on LED modules and drivers, and a 2-year warranty on finish and structural workmanship. Warranty terms are provided in writing with every quote.
Can you repair a sign you did not build?
Absolutely. A large part of our service work is LED retrofits and repairs on signs originally installed by other companies. We diagnose on site, quote the fix, and can usually complete the repair within one or two visits.
What information do you need for a quote?
Send us your logo or design files, the approximate sign size, the install address, and a photo of the storefront or wall. That is usually enough for us to return a detailed quote within one business day.

Quotes and Orders
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Orders are confirmed only upon receipt of a signed approval and the required deposit. Lead times begin after deposit and design approval.
Custom Products
Signs are custom-manufactured. Once fabrication has begun, orders cannot be cancelled and deposits are non-refundable, except where required by law.
Installation
Installation requires safe site access, working electrical service at the sign location, and any necessary landlord or property-manager approvals. Delays caused by site conditions may affect scheduling.
Warranty
New signs carry a 5-year limited warranty on LED modules and drivers and a 2-year warranty on finish and structural workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage from power surges, vandalism, weather events beyond design ratings, or unauthorized modification.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product or service is limited to the amount paid for that product or service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
